Be a Valued Member of A Stellar Dance Education Team in Hudson, Wisconsin

Not just a job.

A place to grow, create, and belong.

At The Dancing House, we’re building something different.

We’re not a high-volume, transactional studio.  We’re not a place where teachers feel like a number.  We're a relationship-driven, human-first studio where both dancers & teachers are seen, supported, & trusted.

Why Teachers Choose The Dancing House

Our team says it best:

“I’ve never felt micromanaged here.”
“If I have an idea, I can actually make it happen.”
“It’s the people… that’s why I stay.”
“You actually listen to what we need.”

That’s not by accident.
That’s our culture—by design.

A Place Where You’re Trusted

You won’t be handed a script and told to follow it.

Instead, you’ll:
✔ Teach in your own voice
✔ Bring your creativity into the classroom
✔ Be trusted to do what you do best

We believe great teachers don’t need micromanaging.  They need support + freedom.

A Place Where You Can Grow

Many of our teachers started right where you are. And here, they’ve been able to:
✨ Build new programs
✨ Step into leadership roles
✨ Develop their teaching style
✨ Grow alongside their students

We don’t expect perfection. We invest in growth.

A Place That Feels Like Community

This is the part people don’t expect… but never want to leave.

At The Dancing House:
✔ You’ll know your students, and their families
✔ You’ll build relationships that actually matter
✔ You’ll watch dancers grow up in front of you

This isn’t “just teaching.”
It’s being part of something meaningful.

A Healthy, Supportive Work Environment

We’ve heard it from teachers coming from other studios:

❌ Overworked
❌ Underpaid
❌ Micromanaged
❌ Expected to “just figure it out”

That’s not how we operate.

At TDH, you’ll experience:
✔ Clear communication
✔ Fair compensation
✔ Respect for your time
✔ Opportunities (not pressure) to take on more

We support our teachers the same way we support our dancers.

Who Thrives Here

You’ll love it here if you:

✔ Care deeply about kids as humans—not just dancers
✔ Want to feel seen, heard, and valued
✔ Have ideas and want space to bring them to life
✔ Believe in growth over perfection
✔ Want to be part of a team, not just work alone.

You’re probably right. We’d love to meet you.

“This is a fantastic I have been teaching at The Dancing House for the past year and truly feel blessed to have found this studio! I love the atmosphere. I feel like I'm back to teaching about the love of dance through technique rather than teaching technique to achieve perfection in a performance piece. The owner, Melissa, is also great with setting expectations for instructors that are clear and attainable- I teach a few classes a week grouped together on one day, which makes it easy to fit into my schedule with my full-time job and my life at home as a parent. I hope to be an instructor here for many years to come! ❤️!”

“This will be my 4th year instructing at The Dancing House and I cannot recommend it highly enough! Being able to teach the art of dance in such an encouraging and welcoming environment has been such a blessing to me! All the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and dedicated to helping each student grow. The welcoming atmosphere creates a strong sense of community, making class very enjoyable. Whether you are an experienced dancer, or beginner there is something for everyone whether it be classes, camps, or masterclasses! If you are looking for a dance studio that feels like home, look no further than The Dancing House, where each student is given the opportunity to shine their light!”

“I have been working at The Dancing House as an assistant teacher for less than a year but I can already tell you how great of a place this is. The way they are structured sets them apart from all other dance studios because of how kind and welcoming they are. They aren't just concerned about how high your child can kick or if they're the best dancer but also how they are as a human. If they are kind compassionate empathetic and overall a great human. The Dancing House strives to have teachers that help the kids develop those skills and that creates such positive work environment. If you're considering signing your kid up for dance classes I would greatly recommend looking into The Dancing House!”

“I love The Dancing House! I love being able to come each week to class and see the excitement the little dancers have! I love that I get to be silly with them, but I love their excitement to learn and dance. The 6 week sessions are a great way to get your kiddos into dance and try it out. We have so much fun in those classes!❤️”
