From the moment you walk through our doors to the moment you leave, our hope is that every student and every team member feels lighter, brighter, and more themselves.

Whether you’re 2 or 92, we want you to feel confident, seen, and refreshed after every class.

Our mission is simple and powerful:
To help students of all ages and abilities develop into kind, confident, and life-ready humans through the art of dance.

How do we do that? Through our core values, woven into everything we do—from how we teach our classes to how we greet you at the door:

💛 Kindness
From waiting our turn to helping a friend put on their shoes, kindness is something we model and celebrate in every class. You’ll hear our teachers cheer students on with, “That was so kind of you!” and “Thank you for using your manners!” 

🎨 Creativity
Our creativity shows up in more than just choreography. Sometimes, you’ll find us reading a book in class and bringing the story to life through movement and imagination. Our teaching methods are playful, inventive, and engaging - often mixed in with stories and over the top examples of what "not to do." 

🎉 Fun
If we’re not having fun… it’s just not worth it. 😉
Our playlists are upbeat, our teachers are energetic, and our classroom atmosphere is full of laughter, movement, and joy.

We say what we do and do what we say. You’ll always know what’s happening at TDH thanks to our monthly blog, weekly socials, emails, and texts. Clear and honest communication is a big deal to us.  We also do the right thing when it comes to hard decisions with team, students or families.

We are proud to be part of Hudson and the St. Croix Valley! Throughout the year, we host events that bring families together—even outside of dance—because shared experiences build connection. And connection is everything - whether its an open house event that launches us into the next season, or a little soiree after adult tap class.  We look forward to bringing some other fun community events as we grow into our 17th year.
