Kids from Wisconsin - A Great concert that the whole family will love FREE!

Summer is the perfect time for park concerts, and one of my favorites is The Kids from Wisconsin! Did you know that Ms. Melissa used to be part of this group? Yes, she performed with them for three years after auditioning three times to get in. Then, she went on to choreograph for the organization for another three years. Do you see a pattern? (Can you find Ms. Melissa in photo?)

Her fortune turns when the kindness she shows to a mystical beggar woman is returned. In a dreamy garden, Cinderella is enchanted by the fairies of Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, and through their magic, her rags are transformed into a gown and shoes to glass slippers. While attending a royal ball, she finds herself face to face with the prince! What happens next? Love and a bit of enchantment — like in any good fairy tale, of course.

Auditions for The Dancing House Performance Company & Solos, Duets and Small Groups

Auditions for The Dancing House Performance Company & Competition Teams are happening August 4–6—and we’re looking for dancers who are ready to bring the passion, commitment, and creativity to the next level! This is a fun and supportive experience designed to challenge and inspire. Open to dancers ages 10 and up, we’ll be exploring all styles—Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Lyrical—and while perfect pirouettes aren’t required, confidence definitely is! Dancers must attend all three days (12:00–4:00pm each day), and come prepped in all-black dancewear, hair up, water and a snack in hand, and all available dance shoes. Registration is $40 through July 20, and $50 after. Team spots are limited and include custom choreography, rehearsal time, costumes, and more. Let’s go make magic happen! 💃
