We did it, friends—we made it through September! And let’s be honest… September felt like four months packed into one. On September 1st, we were still at 2000 O’Neil. By September 2nd, we signed papers for 451 Stageline and started moving in. Just a few days later, on the 5th, we hosted our demo party (with the best community ever!) and tore down bars, floors, and stages to make way for the new TDH. By September 8th, we were already welcoming students into their first classes in the new space.

September 15th brought our famous six-week sessions—over 80 students jumping in, families navigating parking and excitement, and teachers stepping into a whole new rhythm. Yes, there were bumps. Week two brought questions and doubts, week three tested everyone’s energy, and by week four, the sunshine reminded us all why this work is worth it. Together, we pushed through. Together, we found our groove.

And now—October. Our 17th season is officially in full swing! Costumes for our December recital are being ordered, our next six-week sessions opens today! The energy in the studio feels electric. And we’re "having the time of our lives!"

Our October Six Week Session is Open for Enrollment starting Today!

We love our six week sessions and so do you!  Thank you for sharing them with your friends.  

We know how busy life can get, and we want to make keeping your dancer in class as simple as possible. That’s why we created our VIP Auto-Enroll Program—a stress-free way to hold your child’s spot in their favorite six-week sessions. No more rushing to log in and re-register every time. Once your dancer is in, they’re automatically enrolled for the next session—easy peasy!

Here’s how it works: your tuition will only be processed on the Monday before each new session begins (our next auto-pay run is Monday, Oct. 20th at 6am). If for some reason you don’t plan to continue, just fill out the quick withdrawal form at the top of our website before that date. That way, you’re in control, but you don’t have to stress about missing a deadline.

The best part? VIP status means your dancer always has a spot saved and ready for them. It’s just one more way we hope to make dance the highlight of your week!

Please be aware that we had to make some class time changes for the following classes:

• Wed. 5-7 Hip Hop will be from 5:00-5:45PM
• Wed. 5-7 Tap and Tutus will be from 5:45-6:15PM
• 7-8 Pom and Kick is moving to THURSDAYS at 6-6:45PM
• And because  you've asked for it, we're adding another 2 too Cute class on Saturday mornings at 10am!

Session #2 starts the week October 27th - December 12th, performs in Dec. 13th concert! 

And for ultimate convenience, there will be no classes the week of Thanksgiving!

CLASS OFFERINGS FOR OUR ADULTS of ALL AGES!

Yoga—Stretch and Strength—Tuesdays and/or Thursdays at 6 a.m. is great for keeping you limber for life’s adventures and releasing stress!

Tappy Tuesdays - 12pm - a daytime class to accommodate our growing number of sensational seniors!

Tap - Wednesdays @ 7p - join the growing number of tappers each month who are making music with their feet and making friends on the street!

Lyrical Jazz - Thursdays @ 6:45p - This class will include a warm-up, stretching, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography that will be made into a dance. This is a great class for dancers who want to express deeper emotion through movement

Ballet Barre - Fridays @ 11:30a- a beginner ballet class that is focused on making you feel graceful and beautiful while learning the technique and terminology of a classical ballet barre.

Over 30 years ago, Stephanie and I first met in a ballet class. We shared early mornings, creative projects in college, and a love for dance that wove our paths together. Fast forward, and that same connection grew into something even more meaningful: the chance to do business side by side.

Stephanie had dreamed of opening her own dancewear store long before Prima became a reality. A few months before she officially launched, she shared her vision with me, and I boldly suggested we work together. It was scary—I never wanted business to come between our friendship—but we took the leap. We signed the paperwork, and Prima became my subletter at our O’Neill Road location.

On September 30th, we closed that chapter. The Dancing House moved into our new forever home at 451 Stageline Road, and Prima opened a brand-new storefront in downtown Hudson at 206 2nd St. To see Stephanie realize her dream fills me with pride and joy. She is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet—dedicated to service, making sure every dancer is cared for, and ensuring every shoe fits perfectly.
