From the Dance Floor to Our Community - How The Dancing House Dance Studio Is Giving Back and Growing Community in 2025

With 17 beautiful years under our belt, this season marks our biggest and most impactful year yet at The Dancing House. Moving into our new home on Stageline Road has opened the door—literally and figuratively—to even more opportunities to serve, connect, and grow with our incredible community.
What started in a basement studio has blossomed into a vibrant hub of creativity and connection, where dancers of all ages come not only to move, but to belong. Our mission has always been to create kind, confident, and life-ready humans through the art of dance—and this year, we’re seeing that mission ripple out further than ever before.
Here, dance is more than steps or choreography.
It’s joy.
It’s expression.
It’s community.
And every class, every smile, every moment shared inside our walls is a reminder that together, we’re creating something truly special.
Giving Back — A Core Value at The Dancing House
At The Dancing House, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are.
From the very beginning, our mission has been simple yet powerful:
“To create kind, confident, and life-ready humans through the art of dance.”
That mission extends far beyond the studio walls. It lives in how we treat one another, how we show up in our community, and how we use our gifts to make a difference.
Generosity Beyond Our Studio Doors
Our love for the community doesn’t stop at the studio walls. Thanks to the incredible support we receive, we’re able to give back generously to organizations both near and far.Â
Because of YOU—our families, our dancers, and our community—we continue to shine brighter together. Every time you register for a class, attend an event, or support our studio, you’re also helping us give back in meaningful ways.
Each donation represents our gratitude for the trust and support you’ve shown us. Without you—our incredible TDH community—we couldn’t achieve this level of impact.
This year, your support helped TDH give back to so many amazing local organizations, including:
✨ Rhinos Foundation
✨ C.A.S.T.
✨ Hudson Library
✨ Feed My Starving Children
✨ Salvation Army
✨ Turning Point for Victims of Domestic & Sexual Violence
✨ St. Pat’s School
✨ Trinity School
✨ Hudson Raidaires
✨ Hudson Area Moms Group
✨ Scholarships for 3 TDH Students
Thank you for being part of this journey.
"Turn Out" for a Cause

This November marks our sixth annual “Turn Out for a Cause” Ballet Class—an event that’s incredibly close to our hearts. Each year, dancers of all ages gather for an open-level ballet class to move, connect, and give back.
The class is free to attend, but donations are accepted and matched, with all proceeds going to Turning Point, a local organization providing safety, shelter, and support to victims of domestic and sexual violence in River Falls and the surrounding area.
It’s an hour of grace, gratitude, and community—where movement becomes a form of compassion. Together, we’ve raised awareness, funds, and hope for women and families who need it most.
Join us for a donation-based ballet class on "Friendsgiving Day!" Let's get to the barre, enjoy a community class together, and give to those around us. 100% of all donations will be given to Turning Point. Class will be 60 minutes long.ÂThe Season of Giving (and Dancing!)

As we head into the holiday season, our annual Black Friday Event is just around the corner—our favorite time of year to treat yourself and give back. For six years, this tradition has allowed us to share the gift of dance with even more families, offering our steepest discounts of the year to make dance as accessible as possible.
Whether it’s signing up for a new six-week session, gifting a dance camp to a little one, or supporting a local partner like PRIMA Dancewear & Movement, your participation helps strengthen our community and spread joy through movement.
Here’s what to look forward to:
✨ TDH Gift Cards – Perfect for quick, thoughtful gifts.
✨ Mini Sessions & New Classes – Ideal for first-timers or anyone wanting to explore dance without a long-term commitment.
✨ Dance on Demand – Learn and move at your own pace from the comfort of home.
✨ TDH Merchandise – Great for gifting, with every purchase earning TDH credit on your account!
Because at The Dancing House, dance is more than movement—it’s connection, community, and compassion in motion.
And this holiday season, we can’t wait to keep dancing, giving, and growing together. 💛
Shop Local, Support Big
As you shop for gifts this holiday season, we encourage you to think of small businesses. Every purchase you make at a local shop helps support the people in your community. It not only puts food on our tables but allows us to continue giving back in meaningful ways.
From all of us at The Dancing House, thank you for being part of our family. Your support keeps us thriving and empowers us to pour love and generosity back into our shared community.
Let’s keep dancing—and giving—together.

As we reflect on this incredible year of growth, we’re reminded that none of it happens without you. Every class registration, every recital ticket, every encouraging word, and every partnership helps us live out our mission—to create kind, confident, and life-ready humans through the art of dance.
Because of your support, The Dancing House has been able to give back more than ever before, partnering with local organizations like Rhinos Foundation, Turningpoint, Feed My Starving Children, and so many others who make our community stronger. Together, we’re proving that when art, heart, and community come together—beautiful things happen.
So from all of us at The Dancing House, thank you for dancing with us, for believing in us, and for helping us shine our light a little brighter every single day. Here’s to continuing the rhythm of joy, generosity, and growth—one step at a time.
