Our Competition Ladies Performed in their FIRST Competition of the Season.

What a beautiful way to begin the competition season. At The Dancing House, competition is never just about scores or placements. It’s about growth, courage, and the confidence to step on stage and share your work.

At our first competition, DX Events, two of our dancers received special recognition, and we couldn’t be more proud. Rhylinn earned 12th Overall for her Jazz Solo along with a Judges Choice Award for Extreme Style, and received Platinum for her Jazz Solo, Contemporary Solo, and her duet with Luna. Grace also had a wonderful weekend, earning 10th Overall for her solo and receiving a Platinum score.

Additional highlights included Kylie earning a High Gold for her solo and our Small Group receiving a High Gold as well.

While we celebrate these accomplishments, what makes us the proudest is the way these dancers support each other, work hard week after week, and show up with kindness, determination, and heart.

Families often tell us they choose The Dancing House because their dancer feels seen, supported, and challenged in the best way, and moments like this are the result of that environment. We believe in holding high expectations while leading with high humanity, helping dancers grow not only in skill but also in confidence and character. We are so proud of this group and excited to see where the rest of the season takes them. This is just the beginning.

It's Rainbow Dress Up Week at TDH March 23-28

Who doesn’t love a reason to wear all the colors of the rainbow!  What a way to bring some color into the studio just before spring starts springing!

OUR NEXT SIX WEEK SESSION IS OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT!

Our six week session starts April 6-May 16th. Students will perform in our annual recital on May 16th at either 2pm or 4pm.

We are also offering summer camps for our littlest dancers ages 3-7yr.  These camps are held on Thursdays during the summer from 9:00-11:00am.  Camps are only $39 and will have a limit of 10 kiddos per section.

RECITAL DAY will be here before you know it!

ALL students are welcome to participate in the recital. It is NOT required.  We do not charge students a performance fee. However, we do charge a $15 ticket for all spectators.  These fees help cover the cost of the theatre rental and staffing for the day. 

Save these dates: 

End of year recital - May 16th at 2pm and 4pm 

Studio Pics for our year long classes (ages 8+) will be the morning of recital right after their dress rehearsal time.  

Nursing Home Performances for ALL classes will be the week of May 12 and you will performance will take the place of your class time.  Schedule is here.

📣ANNOUNCING AUDITIONS FOR Hooray for Hollywood✨

Join Ms. Melissa and the creative of team of Hooray for Hollywood for a summer of fantastic memories! 

Auditions will be held Saturday, April 18th in person in the Dance Studio at the Phipps Center for the Arts located at 109 Locust St. Hudson, WI 54016. 

This audition is open to performers ages 5 and up.

Is Your Dancer Wanting More? 

Consider private lessons.  They are a great way to double down on the work they learn in class and go further faster.  Work on technique, focus on turns or leaps or clean that solo for competition!  You'll leave the studio stronger and even more confident!

 It didn’t take us long to realize this was the studio for us. Ms. Melissa is all around awesome and my young daughter loves dance class. I love that you can make up session if you get sick and don’t lose out. I also love the 6 week session that we could drop out or pause if needed. I doubt we will ever pause dance, but nice to know we can 😊
